Special Relief Scheme to support the individuals & Businesses who have been directly impacted due to the recent cyclonic & flood disasters.

The CBSL has announced a Special Relief Scheme to support individuals & Businesses whose income or businesses have been directly impacted due to the recent cyclonic & flood disasters. Accordingly SDB bank will provide following benefits to customers who have been directly affected by recent natural disasters, in line with the CBSL Relief Scheme.

Eligibility & Application

• Relief is available to individual & Business borrowers whose income or business has been directly affected by the recent natural disaster.
• Requests must be submitted to the Bank in writing or electronically by 15th January 2026

Our support includes:

• Temporary Deferment of monthly repayments of existing loans for a 03 to 06 months period to help ease your immediate financial burden.
• New loans at an attractive interest rate, subject to detailed evaluation, to quickly restore operations, replace damaged assets and regain stability.
• Waiver on penalty interest & loan restructuring/modification charges until 31st January 2026.
