Position Overview:
This position is responsible for managing daily online payments for the bank and recording transactions in the general ledger. It includes obtaining approval for payment related documents according to the bank regulations and establishing efficient payment processes with strong internal controls. Additionally, the role entails assisting in automating payment procedures, initiating cost saving strategies and minimizing audit issues.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field from a recognized university or institution.
- Have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a Banking/ financial institution including exposure in Finance Department.
- Thorough knowledge in tax regulations and the latest accounting pronouncements.
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to analyze financial data.
- Exposure in the Banking Industry will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Problem handling and building relationships.
