Location: Finance Department – Head Office
Job Profile:
This position is responsible for overseeing all reconciliation unit activities, including the preparation of card center reconciliations, CEFT transaction reconciliations, and ensuring the timely confirmation of customer refunds.
The role also provides leadership and supervision to the Reconciliation Unit, which handles head office–related bank and GL reconciliations, and monitors all branch, bank, and GL reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and the timely resolution of discrepancies.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field from a recognized university or institution.
- Have a minimum of four (6) years of experience in the Finance field.
- Exposure in the Banking Industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Bank and GL reconciliation process and good understanding of CEFT/CEFTS transactions and settlement procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with core banking systems and reconciliation systems.
- Full qualification in AIB would be an added advantage.
- Strong familiarity in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas, Data Analysis)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skill
