Position Overview
Senior Executive – SME Credit Assessment is responsible for assisting in establishing a quality loan portfolio by analyzing and evaluating credit requests originated by branches. This position will be responsible for analyzing and assessing loan applications submitted by branches using the centralized underwriting process.
Candidate Profile
- A degree or an equivalent professional qualification in Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university or professional body.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with exposure in the banking or finance sector, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in branch banking.
- Previous experience in the Centralized Credit Assessment Department of a bank or a reputed financial institution
- Knowledge of current banking laws and regulations, required loan documentation, and bank lending policies
- Strong understanding of banking products and credit functions
- Good knowledge of financial statement analysis
- Strong communication and public relations skills with clients
- Availability and willingness to undertake extensive travel, as required for this role
- Strong analytical skills
- IT literacy
