Position Overview:
This position is responsible for managing leasing, hire purchase, and vehicle loan segments within the branch's credit portfolio. The incumbent will focus on achieving leasing, hire purchase, and vehicle loan targets while enhancing the credit portfolio by ensuring the quality of granting these loans. Additionally, they will liaise with all relevant authorities to ensure the timely disbursement of leasing, hire purchase, and vehicle loan facilities to customers. The role also includes overseeing leasing promotions and handling all documentation activities related to leasing facilities.
Candidate Profile
- A Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university / Institute. Or
- Qualified in G.C.E. (A/L) with 3 simple passes for main subjects and credit passes for English & Mathematics in G.C.E. (O/L) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Banking or Finance Sector. Or
- Minimum of one-year service in the grade of Banking Associate with the qualification in IABF (Old syllabus) or DBF (New syllabus) or diploma (Min one-year course) in a recognized institution.
- Previous experience in handling leasing products
- Strong proficiency in Sinhala, Tamil and English Languages
- Strong analytical skills and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IT Literacy
- Should be a good team player
