Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the branch’s business strategy aligning it with the banks overall objectives to drive profitability & expand market share. This role is responsible for developing sales targets, managing staff performance, and maintaining and sustaining customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels. The ideal candidate should also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborate with various internal & external stakeholders to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in banking field with exposure to the branch banking.
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Management, Business Administration or a relevant field from a recognized university or professional body.
- Diploma in Banking & Finance or Diploma in Applied Banking & Finance (DABF) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of demography in the respective area and possession of good rapport with various business communities, government & private institutions, and social organizations.
- Proven track record in selling & sales management in a multiproduct environment.
- Excellent linguistic proficiency in Sinhala, English, and Tamil, relevant to the geographical area of the branch.
- Proficient business planning, analytical skills & strategic thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Leadership skills & ability to influence.
- Team building and motivational skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a results-oriented approach.
- IT literacy.
