Job Profile:
The Chief Manager of Retail Banking is responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and performance of the retail banking division, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall goals. This role includes overseeing product management such as consumer assets and liabilities sales, and cards while driving business development, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Furthermore, this role will manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and lead a team of professionals to develop and sustain a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement, to maximize the sales and other business objectives of SDB Bank.
Candidate Profile:
- A bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Professional Qualification in Business Management from a recognized professional body.
- An MBA or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institute will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 - 20 years’ relevant experience in a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience in Retail Banking in a Senior Management position.
- Very good knowledge of banking processes and regulations.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication and influencing abilities.
- Proven Leadership, Mentoring and People Management skills.
