SDB bank join hands to shine a light on small minds

SDB bank organized a New Year celebration and book donation program for the children from low-income families in Kandana area on 29^th April at St. Senasthiyan ground - Kandana. As part of the program, we offered Rs. 5,000 worth of stationery gift packs to each participating child thanks to the generous contributions of our staff members.

Lakdaru Scholarship Seminars 2019 – Negombo

SDB bank has organized an island-wide Lakdaru Scholarship Seminar Series for Grade 5 students as a CSR project. The 4th seminar of the series for year 2019 was held on 2nd March 2019 at YMBA Hall, Negombo. In parallel to the scholarship seminar, a separate seminar for parents is organized regarding skills and attitudes of children and child philosophy.

Lakdaru Scholarship Seminars 2019 – Gampaha

SDB bank has organized an island-wide Lakdaru Scholarship Seminar Series for Grade 5 students as a CSR project. The 3rd seminar of the series for year 2019 was held on 23rd February 2019 at Bandaranayake Vidyalaya, Gampaha. In parallel to the scholarship seminar, a separate seminar for parents is organized regarding skills and attitudes of children and child philosophy.

SDB bank has organized an island-wide Lakdaru Scholarship Seminar Series for Grade 5 students as a CSR project. The 2nd seminar of the series for year 2019 was held on 16th February 2019 at Swarnapali Balika Vidyalaya. In parallel to the scholarship seminar, a separate seminar for parents is organized regarding skills and attitudes of children and child philosophy.

SDB bank has organized an island-wide Lakdaru Scholarship Seminar Series for Grade 5 students as a CSR project. The 1st seminar of the series for year 2019 was held on 9th February 2019 at Govi Piyasa Hall, Buththala. In parallel to the scholarship seminar, a separate seminar for parents is organized regarding skills and attitudes of children and child philosophy.

SDB Lakdaru Bodhi Pooja

SDB bank had organized a Bodhi Pooja at the premises of Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya on the 3rd August 2018, to invoke blessings on the children prior to the exam. All children facing the grade 5 scholarship examination this year were invited to take part in the Bodhi Pooja.
